What we collect

We collect the minimum data needed to make CardPerks work:

• Your email address (for login and notifications)
• Which credit cards you tell us you own
• Which perks you mark as used
• Basic usage data (page views, feature clicks)

We never collect your card numbers, bank details, or spending data. We don't connect to your bank or credit card accounts.

What we don't collect

We don't want your card numbers, transaction history, credit scores, or any financial data beyond which cards you own. If we don't need it to show you your perks, we don't ask for it.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to:

• Show you which perks are available on your cards
• Send you expiry reminders and nudges
• Improve the product (anonymized usage patterns)

Sharing

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We may use trusted service providers (Supabase for hosting, Stripe for payments, Amazon SES for emails) who process data on our behalf under strict agreements.

Your rights

You can:

• Export your data at any time from your account settings
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Opt out of marketing emails

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We don't use tracking cookies or third-party analytics that follow you across the web.

Benefit links

When you choose an action link for a benefit, we record the benefit and action you selected so we can operate and improve the feature. Some links may be affiliate links; merchants may pay CardPerks a commission at no additional cost to you. We do not share your account data with merchants through these links.
